Psalms | J. Nathan Clayton

6:30- 8pm | Thursday Evenings | April 4 - May 9

Crossroads Campus and Online

Class Description: The Psalms are the prayer book for God’s people. John Calvin referred to the Psalms as an “anatomy for different parts of the soul.” Old Testament scholar Dr. Nathan Clayton will equip students to uncover the riches of the psalter. Understanding each book of the Psalms in their historical, literary, and theological context will enrich every student’s appreciation for the book. This course offers a safe, dialogical learning space where each student can ask questions and gain insight – all for the purpose of growing in the knowledge of Christ and His Word.

This 6-week class will help you read your Bible - and the Psalms in particular - with more depth and understanding.

Recommended Reading: Interpreting the Psalms, by Mark Futato
