Faith & Politics | Dr. Vincent Bacote
The gospel heralds Jesus Christ as King over all the earth. But what does that mean for how Christians should approach contemporary political issues? How should Christians vote? What should they expect from the government? Now more than ever, it seems we need clear thinking on these matters. This class is designed to probe such questions, setting them in the light of Scripture, ultimately for the purpose of empowering Christians to live faithfully in turbulent times.
This course begins Winter 2023. Final dates and registration coming soon.
Lakelight classes are designed for lay leaders who want to take a step beyond a normal Bible study, but not jump into a seminary class. We bring in content experts who provide instruction around facilitated conversations.
Classes last 8 weeks and are 90 minutes each class session. Reading and assignments are built into the class, but no grades or project feedback provided from the instructors. Class fees, including reading materials, are $39.
